This workshop will focus on ways to increase engagement with Southeast Asian families and communities. Participants will gain a greater understanding of the diverse histories and cultures of Southeast Asia, increased knowledge of best practices in culturally relevant instruction, and awareness of how to engage Southeast Asian American families and communities using culturally appropriate pedagogy.
